Set Controlling Area pop up window - while creating Shopping Cart

Hi SRM Experts,

I am getting Popup Window to Set Controlling Area when I click on Add to Shopping Cart in Shopping Cart Creation Process.

Problem Explanation: I went to Shopping Cart Creation from SRM (4.0) Web Browser -> Describe Requirement -> entered the details description, quantiy, unit-> clicked on Add to Shopping -> here I am getting Popup Window - Set Controlling Area.

This is strange issue for me.

Could you please guide me or provide solution.

I have gone thru the note 883578. Still I have the same issue in my system.

I am working on SRM 4.0 with Support Pack 7 (SAPKIBKS07) and extended classic scenario.

Please let me know any one has an idea to get solution to my issue.

Hi,

Please check in attributes which cost center was maintained,

In SPRO check the product category was assigned to GL account,

Check the cost center and responsible controling area status in back end system..take help

of FI guy..

Thank you so much for your response.

I cross checked Cost Center in attributes and Product Category & GL Account Assignment from SPRO settings. Cost Center, Controlling area and Company code are maintained correctly and Valid upto 12/31/9999.

i think it may come from backend error message? did you influence any warning mssage in backend?

check it up.

you can verify back end CSKS table of your cost center/ con t area and validity period.

I cross checked the Validity period of the Cost Center and Controlling Area in the table. Cost Center is valid upto 12/31/9999.
