Hi,
If you want to access to standard ECC6 transactions with a browser you have to use webgui wuth the internal ITS.
As usual, all the procedure is in help.sap.com. Use the search engine with "webgui" as keyword.

Olivier

Hello Imran,
You have to make the entry of host name in hosts file
Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Open hosts in notepad and make the hostname entry as
<full i.p address of the server> <full hostname of SAP server>
It should work
Also make sure the service /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui is active in SICF
Rohit
Imran,
It looks like you have taken few steps in SICF. Please take few more steps below and you will be able access webgui.
In the main screen from SE80 select Internet Service in the first input field. There is dropdown on the left side of SE80 screen.
In the second input field type SYSTEM and press enter.
Object Name -> select/enter SYSTEM and press the right mouse
button and follow the path Publish -> Complete Service The SYSTEM
service is being published now. You will get the message successfully published for : INTERNAL
In the second input field type WEBGUI and press enter.
Object Name->select/enter WEBGUI and press the right mouse
button and follow the path Publish -> Complete Service. The WEBGUI
service is being published now. You will get the message successfully published for : INTERNAL
Finally login via browser.
Hope this works for you.

HI Rohit
Thanks ... now i can logon to wegui
i activated all services as u told and also one more service (sap/public/bc/ur) activate, it was requiring this.
but when i enter the address in Browser
http://10.0.0.80:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
it shows fellowing error
SSO logon not possible; logon tickets not activated on the server
Choose "Logon" to continue A dialog box appears in which you can enter your user and password
No switch to HTTPS occurred, so it is not secure to send a password
when i click on continue then i can logon to SAP.
i want to login through SSO, plz tell me how can i activate logon tickets on server or an other way to logon directly.
Is this webgui is same as web portal, can i logon through webgui from any where ?
Best Regard
Khan
Hello Imran,
Add the following two parameters to the DEFAULT Profile through RZ10
login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1
login/create_sso2_ticket = 2
and restart SAP and it should work
No you have to be in your company's intranet to be able to use this webgui
you can use it outside but for that your network team has to make some adjustments for you
Rohit
Dear Rohit,
I had similar problem and managed to correct the errors for the webgui through the solution provided by you.
Thanks for the solution to make webgui work.
But Im not able to connect to the ECC 60 Instance through IE using SAPGUI for Windows instead of webgui.
Im getting an error <sapservername>:3601 connection broken. Not able to connect.
But when i tried connecting directly through SAP GUI its working.
And I also want to know, if we want to access this ECC60 instance through internet what needs to be done
Thanks & Regards,
Deepak

Hello
As previously said you will have to activate webgui, here is the procedure for that
1 use transaction SICF and locate the services by path
/sap/public/bc/its/mimes
/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
right click on these services and activate.
2. use Transaction SE80 ,from the menu, Utilities u2013> Settingsu2013>Internet Transaction Server (Tab)>Publish (Tab) and set u201COn Selected
Siteu201D = INTERNAL.
3 In SE80 only, Locate the Internet Services: SYSTEM and WEBGUI.
Publish these services with the Context Menu -> Publish -> Complete Service
4 Now Browse to http://<server>:<icmport>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/! and login to the webgui.
