Transport system configuration in WAS6.20

I am having lot of trouble transporting the included requests into WAS. I followed all the steps described the CD including executing the job RDDNEWPP and changing the rdisp/wp_no_btc parameter. However tp.exe is not working properly because of the following error

sapevt.exe SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP -t name=BSP

Background jobs cannot be started.

Anybody has any idea why this is happening.

I was able to complete the transport by manually scheduling the background job RDDIMPDP every time I saw an entry in table TRBAT. There must be an easier way to do this? Am I missing a parameter somewhere?

Hello Hari,

as far as I know there is a possibility to schedule important jobs via Transaction SM36, this should also incluide the automatic schedule of the RDDIMPDP job which is necessary for a working tp. If not included in the basic jobs search via notes for the report that triggers the RDDIMPDP automatically.
