query performance

We have developed an infoset which contains one infocube and 3 ods. The performance of the report is very very slow. Can any throw some light to improve the performance of the report.

FYI- the report has many key fields with more filter values and many characteristics . This cannot be avoided as this is necessary for us.

I would suggest, you ask your ABAPER to chech the report response time. This way you may find the table or loop in which system is taking more time.

Hi Pooja,

You can chekc the performance of the Query in SE30 and see why is it taking so late.

Also please make sure once you runt he query immediately you need to go to SE30 and run the Query in that transaction to chk the performance.

You can take help of ABAP for better results.

Hi Rohit,

My requirement is in BI and not in R/3

when i checked up in BI, sytem asks for t.code, programe name etc. Se30 is not relevant for BI.
