Changing the ABAP RFC connection for ADS

What changes to configuration are required if I opt to use a different name for my RFC connection - for example ADS_DEV instead of the standard ADS. The set up document suggest this is possible, but does not detail any further changes, yet my forms fail if I do not have connection ADS.

I am using simple forms output in this scenario.

Hi,

If you are using a different connection to ADS, you need to specify it in every application program. The parameter can be specified when calling function module FP_JOB_OPEN (in the changing parameter, there is a field CONNECTION). If you are using the PDF Object directly, you need to specify the name when creating the PDF Object.
