Does MI support Windows Mobile 5 operating system on Netweaver SP16 stack?.

No. Most likely WM50 will be supported starting from SP17. A second option would be support starting from SP18. SP 16 will definetely not be supported.

Hi Vasudevan,

SAP has officially started supporting Windows Mobile 2005. The prerequisite is SP17 but the recomendation is SP18.

Due to the changes in the Windows Mobile architecture you will face a performance degradation. Please refer to Note 968148 for more details on this.

Support for WM 5.0 from SAP is only expected end of the year. There are a lot of perfomace issues related to MI and Windows Mobile 5.0.

Our SAP contact told us, that MI will be released for Mobile 5.0 at the end of July or August.
