CPIC-CALL: 'ThCMSEND' : cmRc=18 thRc=0#Statistics not active error

Dear All,

We are getting the following short dump since yesterday.

An error occurred when executing a Remote Function Call.

"CPIC-CALL: 'ThCMSEND' : cmRc=18 thRc=0 Statistics not active "

Status of connection.... "CODE=CM_DEALLOCATED_NORMAL CM_SEND_RECEIVED

CM_COMPLETE_DATA_RECEIVED SAPCODE=0 CONV=61403840"

Internal error code.... "RFC_IO5"

I have to manually execute the LUWs to complete the loads. The only thing we did was turned on the Technical Content for the BI Admin Cockpit.

There are tons of deadlocks and data load failures since yesterday.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

hi,

I have the same problem where running a Webi report. When I retrieve 3.1K rows then it works fine, howeer when I try to retrieve some 26.8K rows then the whole WebiProcessingServer blows and gets hung. Not sure if it needs to be tuned in BO or in BW ?!

Any ideas ?

Hi.

Please check the number of dialog workprocesses if it is very low, which

could cause an RFC problem since RFC-calls are using dialog Wps.

At least 50% of all workprocesses has to be configured as dialog wp.

(Always in all systems!) This means you have to increase the number

of dialog wps to at least 18.

For more information please read the following note:

39412-How many work processes to configure

Pease increase also the parameter gw/conn_disconnect and check if the

problem still happens afterwards.

Thanks,

Walter Oliveira.
