File Structures in a Project

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to setup a file structure for a project in tcode solar01.

This will be beneath the default folders that are available within Solution Manager.

We want to have a file structure which will have specific folder names and document for example.

1. Application Solution

a) Planning

b) Analysis

c) Design

d) Build

2. Technical Solution

would it be possible to have something like this in Solution Manager

I have done it up to the Business Proccesses and from then on i cant create any other folder. so it will go in two levels only. otherwise it will say enter a component....

Yes this is a restriction but I think in new support package there are enhancement available so you can ask ABAPer to check if they can do some more level of structure enhacement

But curently there is a restriction which you have seen

Thanks for the prompt response, it will allow you to create the higher folder, which is for example Functional solution, but how do we handle the lower folder?

In the same select the higher folder expand it and then on the right side choose the structure and do the earlier way for lower folder creation

Yes,

Create a solman project in solar_project_admin transaction

and then in Solar01

Choose on the left business scenario..and on the right choose Structure tab

Here enter all the names for the folder you want.

Press the save button and the folder will appear now on the left side.
