The servers are now in a domain and due to some security reasons we are going to change the domain of the server. Is the domain change is really possible in SAP. what are the pre-requisites need to be followed for the domain change
I'm not sure what's unclean in that note... it says "not supported". Technically it's possible to do that but you need to exactly know what to change (filesystem permissions, registry permissions, database users etc. etc.) - all that "magic" is done for you if you do a system copy.
You may do that all manually - it't not completely documented - but you may not get support from SAP in case of any follow up errors.
