Hallo everybody,

we defined a new SWCV. We are not sure if the integration engine uses this new SWCV?

How can we check this?

Thanks in advance, regards Mario

Hi Mario,

just check if the SWCV is chooseable for import of SWK to IB Repository.

Hi Mario,

Not sure what exactly your question is.

You need to manually import any new Software Component or Software Component version into the Integration Repository via the menu Tools->Transfer from System Landscape Directory->Import Software Component Versions.

Hi Manish,

we are not sure if the new swcv is used. Thats what we want to check. Maybe the version number could be seen in the message header or so?

Where is the information what version is used by the IE?

Thanks a lot, mario

Hi Mario,

I dont think there is any way you can check in the runtime.

You can check by going to the Integration directory and double clicking on the object you want to check, for example the interface name. This will open up the relevant definition in the Int Repository, where you can see the SWCV used.

The only place where the SWCV is explicitly mentioned is for the interface mappings.
