Material Master Classification

Hi

I understand in our client system , for material master data , classification has been defined ,as CUSTOMER_GSDB.

So that, in material master data , in Classification View , we are able to enter only one ship to party for every material , all other rows and columns have been grayed out, it means so for ,one material is being dispatched to only one ship to party which has been mentioned in material classification view .

At present, we need to enter 2 ship to parties for one material as customer is asking us to ship this material for 2 locations .

I understand in Cl02 and CT04 , we need to make required changes . but I am not able to understand exactly what and how I have to do this changes .

Can I request you to help me out on this pls u2026u2026u2026u2026

Dear Jaya

I understand from your scenario that u have created class CUSTOMER_GSDB using Cl02.

Your existing charateristic is having single value.

Now only thing u have to do is: In CT04 , you have to create characteristic having multiple values so that in classification view of material master, u can enter more than one ship to parties for that material.

In CT04, in basic data tab, u have activate radio button for multiple values.

Hope this will solve ur issue

I am just doing it . Can I request you to help me to fill up below fields pls .

In basic data tab :

1. Description : TPMS

2.Chars Group: ?

3.States :?

4.Auth Group:?

5.Data Type:?

6.Number of chars:?

7.Decimal places:?

8.Unit of measure:?

9Template:?

10 EXP Display :?

In value assign ment , I have mentioned multiple values .

What should I do for below points

intervales allowed

negative values allowed

restrictable

And entry required

Note : Again , I need to resrict it for only one material . For all other materials , one ship to party is sufficiant .

I can fill up above fields with help F4 , I am asking u for accuracy point of view , pls don't mind .

even though you created multiple value characterstic, but u can enter only single value
