no your SAP central Instance,the main server to which all other application servers are connected

you can see that in SM51 also

Hi Lee

Please check SM14. You could activate the updates directly from there. Just select the server and click on the actbate button.

Hi

do following things:

Go to RZ11,in the parameter value,type rdisp/wp_no_vb and check its value.

if the value is 0,you will have to change the value of this parameter in RZ10 otherwise update can't be activated

If the no of processes are more than 0,then follow the below to activate updates:

Go to SM13,choose Administration. Then click the pushbutton activate next to the line Status Update is not activate and activate(Please expore properly in SM13 screen,you will find the option to activate)

About the parameter rdisp/wp_no_vb: DefineValue = 0 ProfileValue = 1 CurrentValue = 1

About the SM13 activate pushbutton there is the message "No connection to the message server. Activation not currently possible."

Hey lee ask your basis admin to check the conections

are you working on an application server ?

if yes ask your basis admin to check the connection between application server and your system message server,it seems there is some issue in SAP
