Hi
What are the roles required for configuring the CCMS alerts in PI.. and do we need to configure this only in 000 client or in any othe client with adminstrative roles user..
Incase CCMS configuration needs in some other client like 810,800 what are the nessesary steps we need to takecare.. ?

Hi,
You can do it on other client rather than 000 client.
Steps are given bellow:-
Step1: Create 2 RFC connections via SM59 from the central monitoring system to any client of the remote SAP system.
a. One RFC for data transfer
In the remore monitored system using SU01 create a RFC user of Communication type with role SAP_BC_CSMREG
b. One RFC for remote analysis
In the remore monitored system using SU01 create a RFC user of Dialog type with profile SAP_ALL
Step2: Create new monitoring segment via RZ21 -->Technical infrastucture --> Create remote monitoring entry. Here assign the two RFCs.
Step3: Adapt monitors in RZ20 to include MTEs from the remote SAP system
