Hi All,

I have a requirement to create a new custom field in the basic data section of shopping cart. I have created it and now the requirement is to create a search help for it which should pull the data from R/3.

we are SRM 4.0 Classic scenario.

What should we do to create a search help for the custom field , as of now i am thinking of creating a exit for the search help, what type of exit should we create?how can we pull the data from R/3?

Hi Lokesh,

If the standard search help is not present then you need to create a custom seach help which will use an RFC to fetch the values for the field from the R/3 side.

Hi ,

What data you are looking from the backend and there are standard aerch help you can avail from the following path

Check in SE15 --> search help --> enter the area which you are looking for.

Example: BBPH_PRODUCT - for Search by product
