Portal takes time to logoff

Hi SDN,

We are using EP7 version here. The portal is taking too long to logoff. I have checked for any locked sessions in the user admin. Moreover, even after it logoffs, an RFC connection continues to stay alive for some time in the backend(T Code - SM04) with the same user. This is happening all the time irrespective of the no. of users logged into the portal.

This issue has started comming all of a sudden. Till yesterday everything was working fine. Is there anything wrong with the R/3 settings or is it due to the load on the system? Please help me out with the issue.

Hello,

I have the same identical problem.

EP 7 (BI Java) connected to BW 7.0 (BI ABAP) system.

When user A connect to the portal (BI JAVA) and he executes a query I see an RFC connection on the SM04 transaction of BI ABAP.

When user A logoff from the portal, the RFC connection, still remains alive and I can see it from SM04 transaction.

Well we are still facing the issue. But I guess we'll be out with some solution soon...will let u know once we have achieved the same...
