Hi Experts,

Can anyone please let me know the Seeburger mapping name for ORDERS_EANCOM_D01B format.

See_E2X_ORDERS_EANCOM_D01B doesn't seem to be working.

Thanks.

Regards,

Shweta

Hi Shweta,

Check in the file(mappings_user.sda) that has been deployed onto the XI system and see if there is a Index dile in that sda file.

That Index file will have the names of the E2X and X2E mappings.

Hi,

Yes,I am not able to find it in mappings_user.sda,hence in order to confirm that this mapping is not deployed in our system,I just wanted to know if I am using the correct mapping name.

Thanks.

Hi Shwetha,

Try this name "See_E2X_EANCOM_ORDERS_D01B"

For EDI file we follow this naming convention "See_E2X_ANSIX12_V4010_850"

Hi Venkataramesh,

For EDIFACT D96A format,we are using See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A so I think ,for EANCOM ,it should be See_E2X_ORDERS_EANCOM_D01B.

Kindly let me know if this is fine.

Thanks.

Hi,

yes,we use bic mapper and bic modules and it works fine for all formats like D96A.

We would like to know if we can handle D01 B format.

Thanks.

Log on tothe physical system of the XI system, go to the Seeburger folder(Usually found in the D Drive).

Something like D:/Seeburger/HT/EDI Message Catalog/

Then look into the Folder corresponding to your EDI Standard/Message/Version combination.

YOu will find 3 files in the folder.

In that you will find a file name starting with msg_<XXXXXX>

YOu can get an Idea of the Mapping name because the mapping name would then be See_E2X_<XXXXXX>

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I have done the same.I have entered the mapping name as per the file name.

But I think, the format specification is there but mapping is not deployed in our system.

Search for *.bicmd file in the system which was used to create the BIC mappings and see if the latest bicmd file has the mappings you need, by importing the file into Mapping designer.

Hi ,

I have the latest bicmd file as I had created some mappings which were not there in the system.

I wanted to check if these are a part of mappings_sys.sda .

If not, then I need to create this again .

Thanks for the information.
