Today's date going into the initial bucket 5 hours before 24:00 hours

Hi APO Experts,

I have written a macro to add todayu2019s value to the tomorrowu2019s value and running it in backround at 11 pm.

It is not copying today's data to next day rather it copies tomorrow's data to day after tomorrow's data.

So the problem is SAP puts current date into the initial bucket hours before 12 AM which should never be the case ideally. This is also observed by debugging the BAPI BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL that current date is put into the initial bucket 5 hours before the day ends.

So macro adds 25th data to 26th instead of adding 24th data to 25th and values of 24th are gone even if the macro is executed at 24th 11 PM.

I repeat scheduled the same job at 9.00 AM and it is working fine so my question is that why SAP internally put current date into the initial bucket 5 hours earlier.

Is this something to do with the planning area or planning book design.

I am working in SCM 4.0 version.

Timely replies (or any replies ) will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!

Chandan, just a thought. Check you time zone settings including that of the user id that is scheduling the job.

We have had similar problems reconciling times which proved to be time zone related.
