When records get syndicated automatically, the record gets generated with a name.
Can someone tell me how the name is generated, what considerations it looks into,
Ex :....time stamp..........and anywhere
And where is that mentioned that name of syndicated file should be like this
Plz reply me ASAP
Hi Shifali,
The syndicated file can be given any name. There is no exact naming convention for the file.
The file extracted from ECC system which is basically an IDOC converted to XML can have the naming conventions as dataobject/year/month,date-timestamp..for eg MATERIAL20080710-104428-382.
This has to be specified while configuring the communication channel, file path, file name.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Minaz

I unstand that,in XI communication we can access with *.xml.
But what i want to know is,
When i generate a file automatically thru syndicator it is naming as.something like this
"20090324-112504-109_10359-3-1-03-24-09-06-02-32_090324-060259_000.xml"
What i want to know is how is the name generated, where is it mentioned as what paraamters to be considered..as date-.....-....??????????
am speaking abt MDM to ECC scenerio

Hi Shifali,
As rightly mentioned while syndicating from MDM automatically the master records either in the Flat or XML format the system generates a system defined name which consists of the Date and Time of the file genneration.
Its designed as the Date_Time stamp .Txt in GMT format.
Hope It Helped
Thanks & Regards
