Moving an image into R3 from disconnected handheld

We need to move a bitmap image that is collected on a disconnected device to R3. We are using generic sync to move the rest of the data. Does anyone know what ABAP functions exist that help import images, or serialized objects?

Hello Brian,

as far as i know(but i only heard this at a MAM Workshop in Walldorf last month) SAP has created a new document upload syncbo.It should be shipped with MAM 3.0 and is designed for transfering digital captures(bitmap) from MAM to R/3. But it should be a general file-transfer syncbo to transfer bitmaps from mobile device to R/3. The Name of the new syncBo will be MAM30_080. If you have the possilibity to get a 3.0 Version of MAM,perhaps you can test and try this syncbo for your document transfer.
