SAPGUI 7.10 on Windows 7 Patch error

I'm working with SAP and need to install SAPGUI on my PC.

I've installed Windows 7 7057 to test how the SAPGUI works.

The main installation of SAPGUI 7.10 is OK,

but I'm unable to apply SAPGUI patches(11 or 12) to get it up to date.

The patch executable file is starting, but terminates after just a few seconds.

Anybody experienced the same problem?

I'm also having problems with IE8 in Windows 7. When trying to open http://service.sap.com nothing happens. In firefox it's no problem.

hello for patch SAPGUI the béta version 7077 is OK.

HI everyone, I found a solution for this issue.

Here is what I did.

When you are trying to execute the patch program do the following:

Right Click to the executable --> Properties --> Compatiblity Tab --> Execute in mode compatability Windows XP SP2. This worked for me, I hope for everyone too..

I have the same problem, any solution found yet? Im aplying patch11 . Im dowloading patch12 hoping it works..

I have the same problem, and patch 12 generates the same error.

The problem reproduces with any patch, attempt to install bi710sp08p_801-10004472.exe, bw350gui710_5-10004473.exe or kw710_5-10004321.exe and reproduces the error, is some problem with Windows 7.

yes, we curently have an issue on extracting the Patch on Windows 7. We are working on it.

Maybe you can use the latest compilation 3, which is Patch 11 already?
