Budget transfer

Dear all,

I've released the budget on lower level WBS element and now i want to transfer last years avilable budget to next year 2008 to 2009.But its showing error

Message no. BQ079 annual budget in WBS is less than the annual release.

Help me......

You mean you want to carry forward the budget from 2008 to 2009?

Use trx CJCF (carry forward commitment) then CJCO (carry forward budget), you won't face such error because the budget is carried forward automatically from fiscal year specified in the selection screen to the next fiscal year

We r not using commitement .

So we need to transfer only released budget.

Hi,

Check the Availability Control activation of the project.Check the budget balance amount in transaction

S_ALR_87013019 - List: Budget/Actual/Commitments .Check the balance amount in Budget with the corresponding WBS & do the budget transfer in the transaction CJ34.

If you didnt release properly then release it in transaction CJ32 - Change

Probably you have not reduced the last year's Release amount accordingly.

First reduce last years release and then transfer the budget.
