Hi Gurus
We are going to use UNSPSC coding scheme in SRM 5.0. As per our research UNSPSC code in defined up to product category level only.it is not defined for individual products.
For example UNSPSC code for Office Supplies is 44120000 however it is not defined for individual products lets say pen aur pencil.
What I would like to know is what is the standard practice of using coding for products in UNSPSC in SRM. Your inputs would be of great help.
Hi ,
UNSPSC code mapping is done at Product category level. It is not at material level. You have to map the UNSPSC code with the product category defined in SRM.If you didn't find the some of UNSPSC code not matching with product category Vis a versa then you have define new UNSOSC code & same has to bereplicated as a product category in SRM/ECC.
If you wan to know more about it then please go to following link:
Thanks ,
AMIT
