Hi All,

OS : Windows Server 2003 R2 64 Bit.

DB : Oracle 10g

App: ECC5 IDES Non-Unicode & SCM IDES 2007

At the Time Orcle Installing its prompt for Drive letter where to install and "SID" NAME. (ABC)

First Installation is Unicode SCM IDES 2007 Installation is Complted successfully & Instance name for SCM is ABC.

Now have to Install the ECC5 IDES Non-Unicode on the same Box..

Do I need to Install the Oracle with different SID or is there any other procedure is there..

SAP Not Recomend to Install Non-Unicode and Unicode in the same database but as its for demo purpose and training purpose.. its there any other Impacts ?

Please clarify my doubt.

yes I would say you should install Oracle with different SID and it should not be an issue

There will be no impacts as such
