Hi Experts,

Any one came across the CO version with M rate?

If the CO 0 version have P rate , we are having a variance in grou currency.

Any one have this experience.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can use the exchange rate type to define a buying rate, selling rate, or average rate for translating foreign currency amounts. You can use the average rate for the currency translation, and the bank buying and selling rates for valuation of foreign currency amounts.

So M the standard average rate you can also use the M type in CO version.

Thanks Raj,

The reason I was asking is we do have Cost planning also in version 0 , which need to be in P rate.

At present I changed the version o with M rate to avoid the variance and accessing the version 1 for cost planning ( activity type) with P rate.

Hope it should not have any impact

Thanks

Hi,

I was recently testing what exchange rate tpye is used in planning and budget for WBS elements...I found note 906975 to be quite helpfull.

If I understand you situation, the consequence to note is that you cannot run away from the M rate being used in budgeting if you use annual values in internal orders or WBS elements...

best regards,

Luis
