Need to create a SAP Directory

Hi,

We are using SAP on Windows NT. I need to create a directory like those that I see in transaction AL11.

Please le t me know which steps or transactions?

Hi,

Your question is not clear.

IF what you want is to add an existing directory to be visible in AL11, it is done from transaction AL11 itself by clicking on the "Configure" button.

Yes this is what I need to do. but I do not manage to create it.

In AL11, after pressing the boldConfigure Buttonbold, Then I enter:

Directory Name : boldC:\usr\sap\sharebold

Param. name : boldDIR_SHAREbold

ServerName : boldallbold

The press the bold"Create"bold button.

But I do not see the directory in AL11.

Not sure about your question. But try AL11->configure->add

What are you trying to achive?

Press the "Save" button instead of the "create" button. It works for me.

This is another great SAP ergonomy feature...

Hi,

after filling up all the info in configuration screen, press 'Add' button. Then go back to main screen of AL11, you will be prompted to save the configuration, save it. In the main/default screen al11, new added directory wil be there.
