No item category determination even after mantained in t184.

I am getting this error event after maintaining item category combination.

The same checked in t184.T184 shows combination>but in so still i get error.

Have you given the same item category group in Material Master, i.e which you have used in item category determination. Check out

Check if you are any Cust Material Info record for this material and in that if any different usage is maintained.

check CMIR T .code VD52 / VD53.

The order of precedence is CMIR is checked first.

higher level item category

just cross check and dont forget to save

i saved all combination.But still getting the same problem.Event it shows entry in table t184.then i donno how come it is giving error as item category not determined.

Please indicate how you have maintained in VOV4. May be the settings would have been maintained wrongly.

Go to VOV4 and check for the order type, you have maintained the required item category assignment. From your error message, it seems, this is missing at your end.
