Significance of field VBAK-CTLPC ( Credit management: Risk category)

Hi All,

There is one field called VBAK-CTLPC (Credit management: Risk category).

I want to know whether it is specific to Customer or order type or item category ?

On what basis this field is populated?

I checked in customer master table KNA1, this field itself is not there..

Please guide me on this..

Hi Suman,

This field contains the value that is entered in FD32 screen in status tab.

In FD32 after entering the customer number and the credit control area by selecting the status tab you can find the value for the field risk category.

It is coming from KNKK table.

The field name in this table is "CTLPC".

THIS filed is specific to customer which you will be assigning in FD32 status tab

this field can be find in KNKK-CTLPC

this is specific to customer credit only

Hi,

I changed the filed CTLPC (Credit management:Risk Category ) going to the status tab in the T-Code FD32.

This got updated in the table KNKK successfully but when I created the sales order for the same customer,this field does not get updated in the table VBAK (VBAK-CTLPC).

Does the field VBAK-CTLPC get populated from some where else?

or what is the reason behind this field not getting updated in the table VBAK?

Could you please enlighten?

Hi suman,

After changing Risk category in FD32 and then saving it,this field will not be getting updated in already created orders.It will be updated in the orders that going to be created after this change.

I think you have created the order before changing the field in FD32.And after changing you are looking in VBAK table for that field by passing that order number .If my guessing is right then it is correct it will show the earlier risk category only.

Now do this one.

Go to FD32 and then change the Risk category there.Save.

Go to VA01 and then create a new order.Save.

Check in VBAK by passing this new order number.the cahnge will be definitely affected in this new order.

Pls check this way.You will definitely get the result.

Hi Krishna,

First I had changed the Risk Category in the status tab in T-Code FD32 and then I have created the sales order in VA01.

But then also this field VBAK-CTLPC is not getting updated.

Could you please have an insight into this..

Hello Friend,

Risk Cateogry will be coming from FD32 Credit Management Master Data and it is specific to the particular Customer(Sold To).
