Change warning message in to error

SDexperts,

we are creating sales order with reference to contract. However, if the validity period of contract is exceeded the system issues the soft warning message.

Is there is any way of changing this to a hard warning i.e error message.

please advise.

Please take the help of ABAPer for resolving your issue.

Anyway are u getting the message number " V1448" ??? Kindly let me know your response on this.

Hi Sarthak,

Error Message : The sales document is only valid until XX.XX.XXXX.

Message No : V1448.

Responce : Stop the transaction.

Hi VKM

Go to OVAH and check the message number V1 148 is available or not . If it is available then change the status from W to E

But is not recommended to do change the message status

you can use OVAH to change warning to error messge

also co ordinate with your ABAPer , he ill do need full
