WBS Milestone Number range

We are doing PS Implementation ECC6.

For one of the interface, Milestone number need to be greater than 1000. i.e it should be min 4 digit.

I guess there is no controle over WBS Milestone number range in PS.

What is the best solution ? other than making table entry in MLST table ?

The Problem is only for first 999 milestones. once it reaches 1000, there is no issue. so ideally we just need to skip first 999 numbers & start first milestone number from 1000.

What could be the best option ?

create a dummy project and add 999 milestones and then release the project and then close it without any postings.

now you will get milestone numbers from 1000 onwards

check is there any user exit or customer exit, build the logic and activate it.
