Performance Problems with Content Server

Hello everybody.

I have a Performance-Problem with a new Content Server. I have created a physical and a logical repositoryon it. Furthermore I have created a Storage Category. When I am now checking in an original into the repository, it take a very long time. Here are some examples:

Word-Dokument 24KB ca. 2 Minutes

PDF-Dokument 2,3MB ca. 3 Minutes

The dissplay and check-out take the same time. The network-connection is a VPN-Connection with 100MBit. Do you have an idea, what the cause can be? What troubleshooting can I do?

The cause of this problem was a missing entry in the Routing of the Firewall.

Hello.

Thanks for your mail. I used the transaction SCMSMO to get furhter information. I´ve found an error messge NIECONN_REFUSED for ma last access. Do you know what this means?

You can setup a trace on the SAPHTTP and SAPHTTPA RFC's and analize the results with RSHTTP40...
