Cost element XXXXX For network activity "network" / "act" does not exist

Hi Experts,

I am getting an error when saving a project. We have defined a default cost element for external activities but, only in some tasks when saving the project we are getting the error

Cost element XXXXXXXX For network activity XXXXXXX / XXXX does not exist

The cost element is created, and assigned properly.

Any idea on what could be the problem?

check if cost element has validity for the current year

Hi,

The cost element is created (in fact is one of the possible values in the matchcode). It is valid from a former date than the beginning of the task until 12.31.9999.

Any other idea?

see how quickly once you give error message number the solution is there
