Risk anlaysis failed in CUP

Hi Everyone

I am trying to run risk analysis in CUP ( GRC AC 5.3) but I am getting the follwoing error

Risk analysis failed: Exception from the service : Invalid System

my connector works fine, and I have also changed the intial pasword for the websuer used in the Risk analysis tab in Configuration

Webuser have admin rights .

I guess I need have the same name for the connector as in RAR ... will try to chaneg and give it a try .

I mean the connector name in CUP and System Id for the connector in RAR should be the same right?

did anayone face simialr issue ?

any help would be appreacited .

Yes, the connector names have to be identical in RAR and CUP for the risk analysis to be successful.

Hi Ankur ,

I have already imported roles into CUP , I guess I will have to export and reimport with New connector names which are the same as in RAR

Hello PKK,

Try this :

Edit the earlier file and try uploading it again. Make sure that you select the Overwrite Option before Import.If there is some issue with the file template then you should be able to Import now.

Also as a best practice: before deleting connectors and roles, you should delete any requests associated with these connectors or roles. You can always request SAP Support for the delete script .

But now that you have been successful in deleting roles and connectors so there must not be any request associated to them.So you can proceed for now.

If the issue does not get resolved then please paste the logs here and confirm the CUP verison and SP level.

I ceelted all the role attributes created all from scratch and editied the import file accordingly

we are on GRC aC 5.3 and SP level 7

well There is spelling msitake for one of levels instead of Medium I had meduim , let me try agian

Hi

I had no luck even after correcting the spelling mistake in import file

that is the crtical level ( High, Medium,Low) They all exist in system , I check in the create role critical level option

I have even tried usign the overwrtiting option still the roles wont get imported and I haev checked the logs

and error is as follows:

Any thuoughts guys

It seems there is one more error here.

RoleFileImportImpl.java@838:insertOrUpdateRoleDetails() : Error in Business Sub Process may be Business Sub Process not exists in the system BE_MM

Check you business process and sub process. Pass everything in uppercase as the fileds in spreadsheet are case-sensitive. Pass the ID/Name of the BP and SBP.

I have fixed those field an tried to reimport , the SBP error is gone but still Crtical Level error sstill exists , I am taking the hard way , I have imported the Roel from back end and I am assignign the attributes one after the another an page by page .. tedious process

Hello PKK,

Connector names definitely have to be same in CUP and RAR. Even if you have already imported roles , you can reimport them with new system.

Also make sure to perform the other configuration steps in CUP to make Risk Analysis work . You can refer the configuration guide for the same.

Hi Harleen,

I have deleted all the roles from the CUP and then deleted the conenctors and created new conenctors as in RAR and now that I want import the spread sheet it says '' 0 '' successfully imported from XXX records found

I tried changing the role affirm date to today but still doesn't import

Probably I need import from a back and export the same file and fill the atributes and re-import again

any thoughts?

There must be some issue with the file. If you look at the log, it should be able to tell you.

Anyhow, the easiest approach would be to import roles from backend and then download them in the spreadsheet. Now you have the excel file which will work with CUP. Update this spreadsheet and re-import it.
