Change the Alert class

Hi, I have created one alert category in one of the alert class.

Now I have created new classfication and create the new class..

May I know can I change the class of the existing alert category ? and can I copy the existing alert category with rules to another class ? if yes then how.

Your answers will be helpful for me . thanks in adavnce.
