swimlane is a modeling technique in xi. using this u can represent the complete flow of msg in
pic form..this contain the info like which systems exchanging the msg ,who is sender ,who is receiver what is the CC channel used .

Swinlane is nothing but a pictorial diagram of a high level business integration scenario. In simple terms it helps to get a broader view of the entire process that might happen in the interface....irrespective of the creation of the IP, mapping etc.

it is nothing but the blue strips in the Integration scenario editor.
