I am installing Solution Manager on Windows Server 2008 Machine (64-bit) with DB2 V9.1 Fix pak 6 as database.
The java version which I am using is j2sdk1.4.2_17-x64.
It shows an error during "Configure System Landscape Directory" phase and the error is given below:
CJS-30059 Java EE Engine configuration error. DIAGNOSIS: See output of logfile java.log:
'IO EXCEPTION: Unexpected end of file from server:: '.
FCO-00011 The step configSLDMainLocalMapSecRolesToUsers with step key

Usage_Types_Configuration_AS|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW CONFIGSLD|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|configSL
DMainLocalMapSecRolesToUsers was executed with status ERROR .
When I checked the log file (java.log), this is the error listed there.
TYPE=A<BR>STATE=<BR>INFO_SHORT=IO EXCEPTION: Unexpected end of file from server::<BR>CONFIGURATION
I stopped the instance, restarted the server, turned on the instance and tried to start the
installation, however I received same error. I have updated the latest kernel patch as well.
Windows firewall is turned off.
There is no Anti-virus
User Account Control is turned off.
Checked the Environment variable for Java and is set correctly as well.
Any help from you, is highly appreciable...

Hi,
The issue has been resolved by changing the port number. Actually SAP and DB2 uses same port number (50000) and since DB2 locks the port number, SAP Application was unable to use the port number and is showing the error.
So, changing the port number has done the trick. I have changed the DB2 port number and restarted the installation and everything worked fine.
I hope, this will help for people who are facing similar issue.
Thank you
