Hi,

Can anybody please explain the significance of UOM group found in the sales Tab in the sales area of Customer Master Record? Also explain where do we create UOM Groups??

Hi

We create UOM Groups in img--materials management-purchasingorder optimizing-order optimizing and allowed logistics unit of measurement---unit of measure groups

Here you have to define as new entries

Unit of Measure Group

Key that you can use for grouping several units of measure.

Use

You can use the unit of measure group, for example, to define allowed units of measure for a particular material for a vendor or a receiver. This is of significance for when rounding with the dynamic rounding profile if 'check vendor' or 'check customer' is selected in the rounding profiles. In this case, only those units of measure are included in rounding that are defined in the unit of measure group.

This is an F1 explanation

Practically i have seen this field being kept only for display or suppressed in OBD2 for all account groups in my experience so far
