Hi All,
Due to a client requirement I am trying to assign some roles to a particular user throught SU01, during this process the system throws and error saying 'maximum number of profiles for te user exceeded'. Please guide if there is any solution to this limitation, in case there is no way out please suggest what is the best practice in such situation.
Regards
Vani
Thanks for the reply Vit, this user surely requires a superuser access but only till further resources are added to the organisation. So its risky to provide such a role having access to everything. Can we request them to access things through FFID for regular use also in such a case?

Hi Vani,
How many profiles do we talk about? All profiles are stored in one long field (PROFS) in table USR04, with max lengdh of 3750 charaters.
If this the case the user is most probably a superuser (or consultant) with a lot of authorization. One solution would be to make a dedicated role for that superuser.
Kind Regards,
Vit
