Hi,

In our quality server we have two instance MMI and MMQ.

I had to apply basis patches in MMI but bymistake I applied patches in MMQ.

While applying basis patches KB70013.SAR,KB70014.SAR,

KB70015.SAR,I got error "Open Data Extraction Requests" .hence couldn't proceed further.

I used the skip button and proceeded with the error.

again i got ddic_Activation error.

Now none of the abap program & web service is working in MMQ coz getting abap dump

Syntax error in program "SAPICP__ ".

All my transports to production is done via mmq/quality server.

Kindly suggest solutions ASAP.

Awaiting for your quick response.

Regards,

Rachel.

Hi Rachel,

Support Packages are installed serially, you cannot skip one and go to the last.Support packages are installed in stacks, or can be, but pre-requisites must be met to be successful. So check the prerequisites before update a perticuler patch. There are prescribed methods for installing support packages. If you review all the support packages -Display all.you can drill into the support package and see what prerequisites are there. If the package has not been uploaded and is prerequisite you will get errors.Since u apply mistakly in another server so , i think the prerequisites are not fullfilled there. And that is the reason why the error comes.

Send a message to SAP regarding your issue.

Hey Rachel

but kernel and SPAM should always be up to date when applying support packs.

You should use ext kernel if it's available for your platform. It contains new database libraries.

Please check the following SAP Notes

1083709 - Error when you import Support Packages

328181 - Changes to extract structures in Customizing Cockpit

I hope it helps
