BDLS - "Error in field of table . Manual correction required."

Hello All,

When going through my logs for BDLS after a system copy, some of the tables are not getting converted and the message:

<<<< Error in field of table . Manual correction required.

is displayed next to it. Does anybody know how to manually correct these entries? I've searched SAP Notes to no avail...

One of the tables in question which is shown in the BDLS log:

TBD06 RCVSYSTEM 2 0 <<<<

I checked table TBD06 in SE16, and I do see some RCVSYSTEM fields filled in with the old Logical System name.

System details:

Netweaver 7.0

SAP SCM 5.10

Oracle 10.2.0.2.0

Hello Ian,

Refer to Note 121163

It says:

"If the new logical system name already exists in the system, it can cause errors for tables in which the logical system is key field or unique index (for example, COFIO1). In this case the number of converted entries is smaller than the number of selected entries. Manual postprocessing must be carried out in this case, and if necessary the conversion must be started again."

So you will manually need to change all those entries in tables through SE11 or SE16.

But the table that you refer here will not have any impact as such,so even if you ignore this and go ahead,thee will be no issues in the system
