Temporary SAP license

Hi,

how can i extract the hardware key on linux ?

i am using the My SAp Technology Test Drive CD of SAP Web Application server 6.10 on linux.

pls do let me know from where i am getting the temporary license?

my SAP system name by default is WAS and system number is 18

can any one tell me the exact web link from where i can get the above said rpm package for the temporary license?

i got the one which is:

but here no system name "WAS".

I am using the Test Drive CD of SAP Web Application server 6.10 on linux

now i need the RPM package for the license.

default System name during the set up was "WAS" with system no. "18"

Pls help me to find the respective RPM package for the License.

Hi,

can you also tell me, how i can set the SAP environment varaible on Linux syste,. i know this on windows system. i.e. just right click on my computer and go to the environment variable.

pld do also let me know the variables with path, and how to set.

Dear Abhishek,

the WAS testdrive is out of maintenance, please use a more recent version. You can grab the latest available version (N4S) from:

Licenses can be obtained via:

[http://www.sap.com/minisap|http://www.sap.com/minisap]

Hi,

go to

cd /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run

give command

saplicense -get this will return the hardware key. You need to request the permanent license on service market place

http://service.sap.com/licensekeys

temporary license is get automatically installed when you install the SAP system. You need not require any rpm package for it.

Additionally refer SAP note 870871 for license installation.

this is a demo system and and the complete version. as per this cd instruction, i have been told that you have to load a RPM package for the licnense fro mth eSAP web site, to install the Test driver license, but i am not be able to get the exact link, where i i shld ge t the follwong lnk on this SAP web. by default the SAP system Name is "WAS" and the system Number is "18"
