SAP ABAP WAS6.40 Installation error

Hello all,

I am installing the SAP XI.

I am installing this on the windows 2003 server. So I started with installing WAS 6.40 ABAP stack first. At the end of the installation the installation failed with the follwing error.

ERROR 2006-03-28 22:56:43

MUT-03011 Execution of the command "C:/DOCUME_1/ADMINI1.COM/LOCALS~1/Temp/sapinst_exe.2016.1143601665/SAPCAR.exe '-x' '-v' '-g' '-i' '-n' '-R' 'C:\usr\sap/A64/DVEBMGS00' '-f' 'C:/Chetta/XI/IGS/IGS_SOFT/NT/I386/IGS.SAR,'" finished with return code 29. Output:

Please suggest what I can do to overcome this issue. All I know is it is trying to open some kind of archive file. I have no idea what to do to fix this. Also I know that it has something to do with SAPCAR.exe file. But I have no idea what to do with error to resolve this.

Did this error happen during the central or database instance of the ABAP stack?
