Assign more than 999 Ship-To's

Hi All,

We have a situation where we need to assign more than 999 Ship-tou2019s to a sold-to and SAP does not allow us to do that. The partner counter in KNVP has just 3 characters. Has anyone come across a situation like this? Can you suggest what can be done in such a case.

Hello Aribis,

The standard system only allows 999 ship-toｴs to be linked to the

sold-to because the field length is set to 3 characters in the data

dictionary for field KNVP-PARZA. This is the standard system behaviour

which cannot be changed.

To overcome this, you have the following options:

1) A ship-to partner does not need to be assigned to a sold-to

in order to be used on a sales order. As long as the ship-to has been

set up (using transaction XD01 and account group 0002) you can use

any ship-to in an order.

2) Break up the sold-to by regions or some other means so that you can

accommodate all of the ship-to's.
