Hi,
I was trying to cancell one proforma invoice, but system is not allowing me to do that, it is showing an error message "Proforma invoice cannot be cancelled".
Is there any solution for cancelling the invoice?????
Thanks & regards,
Rupam
hi
ccheck whether you can delete a proforma invoice as you cannot cancel a proforma invoice because there will not be any accounting docs generated

Proformas cannot be cancelled via VF11.
So first check in document flow what the status shows against the proforma. Next go to VF02, input the proforma reference and from top menu bar, click on Billing document --> Complete.
Now again check the document flow so that you can see the status as "Cancelled".
thanks

Hello Rupam,
The standard R/3 system is not designed to allow the cancellation of
proforma invoices.
Since proforma invoices are not 'real' invoices and neither accounting
documents have been created nor the billing status in the sales order
resp. delivery have been updated, nor statistics have been updated
they cannot be cancelled since there is no need.

Hi Rupam
Just check in VOFA for proforma invoice wheather cancellation billing document type has been assigned or not. If not assigned then assign the cancellation billing document type and then cancel the proforma invoice
