Actual revenue

Dear Guru's,

I have attached a billing milestone to a WBS from menu bar "Edit" option by selecting WBS-----> Billing and have provided date and amount in it. Now i am able to see my plan revenue in reports. Now what i have to do to see actual revenue in reports? Can anyone tell me step by step .

You have to release the project....enter actual date in milestone...milestone will unlock the date in sales order...create billing document for the sales order...after that you will see the actual revenue .

While making sales order , in material column what should i put?

You have to select line item (BOM/materials).

Refer to your material master & pick the appropriate the material(s).

If the material you are looking in not available in material master, then go to MM01 & create material. Go to CS01 to create the BOM.

Dear Sir,

Revenue is not against material . It is against project billing. In this case how can we get actual revenue?

You said, you are using milestone billing.

Then your actual revenue will flow, as and when you confirm your milestones.

Whenever you confirm your milestone, billing block against that milestone will be removed by the system, then SD guy will raise the invoice with customer.

This is how your actual revenue flow.
