Hello,
I'm looking to find any information about the SAP data model , out of the box , or any white paper
for SAP ECC data model.
Thanks
Osama
Hi Osama,
what exactly do you want to know?
ECC is a pretty complex collection of applications that cover very different business processes.
Given that an empty ECC installation comes up with about 60.000 tables nowadays, you really don't want to see the ECC data model.
regards,
Lars

Hi Lars,
what I want to know is how sap model its data on a high level, for example sap data model for PSCD (Public sector)
not the entire database. Or a white paper descriping the SAP ECC data model.
regards,
Osama

High level sap ecc data model
Hi,
I haven't heard any whitepaper or document containing data models of SAP components. But I found couple of links (as attached) having some information on SAP data model.
Hope this helps.
Manoj
The company I work for has a software tool (called Safyr) that allows SAP users to make datamodels from SAP tables. As Lars says, an ECC6 system has thousands of tables, so the trick is to make 'intelligent' subsets that represent a useful artifact. Safyr has a number of ways to do this, including grouping the tables by those involved in a given Transaction or Program.
