I am trying to figure out how to fill out a transaction (e.g. type SDCR), save it as a template and insert that template in the transaction type, so the next time I run this transaction people do not have to fill out certain fields as they are already taken care off (one is the Ibase). Something like in the Controlling module where you have a template you can create for internal orders.
I look at some of this, and within the transaction type (expert mode) there are two areas that are potentially interesting. First is the copy, I can copy a transaction but I am not sure what that actually does.
The second one is under extras>template>Create. I still have not figured out how that works as it actually creates additional fields (Item details, that includes fields like Product, Quantity and Description and other fields) and I wouldn't want that.
Then even when I save this template I would I get this into the transaction type?
If anyone can help this would be appreciated
Paul
You could consider making a transaction variant:
