unable to create new software component

Hello All,

I am having these troubles with SLD.

1) I am unable to create products for SAP Systems in the catalog. Whenver I select a new product the message always says new product for non-SAP system.

2) I am unable to create software components for products for non SAP systems. Whenever I try adding new software components I get an error on the production state

Value not allowed by VALUEMAP for property SAP_SoftwareComponent.ProductionState:Released

Any ideas? I am using NW2004S SP4.

Hi,

I am using NW2004s SP06. The same problem persists in SP6 also. As Wolfgang says, If this issue has been resolved in SP5, how come it still persists in SP6?

Does anyone have any solution?

Please guide.

Hi,

A small correction. I was using SP4 and not SP6. So, as wolfgang says, i assume that this problem will go away once i upgrade.

As soon as you create the new product/ software component, you need to do 'Update CMS'.

Hi,

it's a bug in SPS04 - you have to install SPS05. This is the information I got from SAP - there's no workaround or a patch.
