after an upgrade from 9.2.0.6 to 10.2.0.4 I get an error while execitung r3trans -x

PS: I have checked the env. variables and listener/tnsnames.ora!!!

Hello,

just to be sure:

have you already extraced the Oracle Instant client into the kernel directory (DIR_EXECUTABLE / DIR_CT_RUN ) of the SAP instance?

The solution was to download the new oracle client dll into the kernel.

Hi Christ,

Just rename old logs and try to startsap. Then paste the latest R3trans -dx file and also dev_w0 logs.

dev_w0 file will show you the exact error. Mean while search the error ORA***** .

Hi, Did you already try R3trans -d? this probably is a problem with enviroment
