How to transfer Shelf Expired Material from QC Pending Location

Dear Sap Experts,

Scenario

Currently the stock is lying in Quality Pending Location with Inspection Lot

Against Inspection lot, MIC recorded;

But system not allowing Usage Decision because shelf life is expired

Now the Questions are

1. How to make Usage Decision or

2. How to Transfer "Shelf Expired Material" from QC Pending Location without changing Expiry Date.

Hello,

I think there is no other alternative then changing the SLED of the batch. It may for a while, till you complete the posting from QI, as truly suggested by Ram.

Please try with QA07 with intial run in days as 1and also the reason code

If the materials are not batch managed the material will be transfered to Block or if it is batch managed it will make restricted.

For our Scenario:

plant - batch status management is active;

"shelf life expired batch" is lying in quality pending location.

We need to move this material out of "quality pending location".

In QA07 - when we run the transaction, system shows the message "No Entry Found".

Please help

If possible you can temporarily change the SLED and let usage decision happen and subsequently restore the SLED in t code msc2n.
