Hi all,
Printing Error
Error: cannot create printer context , text = Overlapped I/O operation.
Printer was working good. Because of some network issue there happened to change the IP. And also printer is reconfigured with the current IP,but it is not working now.
Previously the Error was Error: cannot create printer context , text = the interface is unknown.
i again reconfigured the printer (change of ip and printer name done) and now the Error Status is
Error: cannot create printer context , text = Overlapped I/O operation.
Is that changing the IP caused the Error or how to sort it out?
Regards
Arun.
Hi Arun,
Reinstall the drivers and install in os level, then reconfigure the Local printer or go to printing screen give print,it will ask for outputdevice there you should give LOCL,number od copies also mentione then click on shift+f1,print will work

Hi Arun,
As you gave access method as F means frontend printing, what Device type did you select.(Check whether SWIN is selected)
Also check Host Printer is set to __DEFAULT(2 underscores DEFAULT)

Hi
There must be associated error message, along with this error.
Also check, if the new printer is configured at OS level on your local PC. If its a network printer, you will have to reconfigure it on your Windows system as well.
